Up to my eyeballs in windows

Two new windows for sale! The big poppies is from a century old house (very cool) and is $100 and the, "midnight in the garden" is from the same batch of windows (see above) for $75.  I have about 10 of these big windows without panes just waiting for a special order!  Let me know!

Wreath project

First, more little charms with hand painted and drawn artwork inside. They are awaiting chains, which are hopefully in the mail today!
This one is waiting for two initials....wedding gift perhaps?
I made this wreath out of recycled music for an auction that my band is participating in.
This wreath is made out of an old book and will go hand in our local library! They were so easy to make!

Top of the morning

I'm not sure if the words House and Beautiful belong in the same sentence when choosing adjectives to describe our house.  Small but cozy and just perfect for us at the moment.  This is what I enjoyed yesterday morning for a very brief time before I was nudged....or shoved rather, into my motherly duties.  Coffee, a good magazine, my art supplies and a homemade blueberry scone.  The scones didn't go over too well with the boys, I even tried to convince them that they were, "cake"  It was a no go.  More for me I guess!

I wanted to remind you to mark your calendars for December 4th for all of you semi-local people. Even if you are not local, it's totally worth the drive. I have the pleasure of joining the Things with Wings ladies, along with a few others at an open house in Iowa City.  More specifics and directions coming soon!

Be joyful!

Sorry for the awful lighting, but I was just too excited to wait until proper sun tomorrow.  I finished this long skinny necklace with artwork inside (the chain will be attached soon) The colors are yellow (gold) and orange and the paper that the bird is on is vintage hymnal paper.  Just think of all the cool things I can put in here!! ($20)

The NEW the TINY

I've seen these necklaces ALL over the place, so I cannot take any credit for the idea, but the artwork inside will be all original.  Here is one that I did today...just playing around with some collage.  They are one inch by one inch squares and eventually will have the chain around the neck and be for sale! You can put anything from a photo to a wedding date to a seed inside of these and make a necklace!  Sooooo excited.  It's really hard to go from working with HUGE windows to TINY necklaces!  I'm up for the challenge!
