It's that time of year again......time for art in the yard during Sauerkraut Days! It will be a bit different this year because I no longer live on Main Street BUT I will still be there. I'm going to set up in front of Iron Leaf Press 134 East Main in Lisbon on Saturday August 9 (Which happens to be my 11th wedding anniversary) We'll be set up around 9am and hopefully around until 4ish. There will be my artwork along with some Scentsy and pallet art by my fellow teacher friends! I will have my windows, signs (LOTS of them...70!) and original illustrations.
These are two special order windows for a couple in Brooklyn, Iowa.
This may be my all time favorite window. I was given four huge storm windows from an old house (which is an amazing blessing in itself) and I have painted on two of them. They are six feet tall and would make an awesome addition to any house with that hard to find decorating spot (above the stairs perhaps? Or a hallway?) I wish I had room in my house for this one, but alas.....it will be for sale at Sauerkraut Days for $200. Hope to see some of you there!
This is one of my most favorite windows! It's a HUGE storm window. It would be perfect above a couch or bed. I know it will go to someone special. ($200)
LOVE me some Iowa! On Iowa barn wood!
I will be at Sauerkraut Days in Lisbon on Saturday August 9. It won't be in my yard anymore since we have moved BUT will be at 134 East Main or the Iron Leaf Press building. I'll be there from 9am until around 4ish. I'd love to see you!
Another one of my favorites! Loving the bright happy yellow background. $75
I am so excited about this! You can finally buy some of my artwork as prints right here at One Mission Fundraising! Just like this print! You can pick a size and then frame them however you want. They are on quality paper and look just like the originals, in fact I could hardly tell the difference. I also designed some of their t-shirts and logos. The t-shirts are so soft!
This cool thing about this website is that it also has other amazing things like candles, t-shirts, lotions, soaps and other art prints. If you need to raise money for something, say you want to adopt from Haiti and need the funds, you use this site. You start a fundraiser, share the website with family and friends and they buy what they want. QUALITY things that they'll actually use and love! They take care of shipping and money and all of that not so much fun stuff and you get a portion of the sales for your fundraiser. SO perfect.
I have been taking down our barn one piece of wood at a time. Here is what I have been working on in my first few weeks of summer vacation. I'm taking orders on signs and things that can be shipped. Window orders have to be local.
