Here are some examples of murals (that happen to be mostly of trees :) that I have done.  Mural pricing ranges from $75 to $250 depending on the subject of the mural and size of the wall.  Let me know if you're interested!

Christmas is September!

It's time to start thinking about Christmas gifts!  I know it's only September but I want to get a head start on the crazy season.  I will be taking a FEW art orders on signs, murals and windows (local only).  If you're interested in having me make something for you for Christmas, let me know soon so I can get started!  It will take me a little longer to get to them since I am teaching full time.

A new chapter

 Here is to a new beginning of inspiration from the country!  We are moved in and I'm ready to start making art again....I think...just a little.....baby steps.  We are nestled in the country on six acres with a pond and we are in heaven.  We are very blessed. 

 Along with the pond comes a very large very old barn....with lots of barn wood....guess where these came from?  You betcha.  Resalvaged barn wood!

 These came from the barn too and are headed out West to a cowgirl. 

I still have a few windows left that I want to get rid of before I start out fresh.  They might end up on my wall too!

Summer art!

I got some time yesterday thanks to some beautiful weather (minus the stinking gnats!) to create some new art.  The above windows are beautiful colors and for sale $60.

Do what you love. Love what you do.

I do love what I do.  I get to teach art AND I get to make it.  While summer vacation is just around the corner, this teacher and artist is looking forward to some rest and relaxation (whatever that is) I have taken an extended art break during the school year to focus on my family, my students and my athletes.  Over the course of the school year, I have come to realization that I was not looking forward to start making signs again.  I wanted to have that drop everything and create something feeling again, but it was in hiding.

 Don't get me wrong, I have LOVED making signs for all of you and am very very thankful for your patience and purchases!  I am going to be a bit selfish and only create artwork that I want.  I'm not very good at following instructions (or directions for that matter) and making specific requests stresses me out a bit. 

Here is what I will be creating...art that I look forward to making. Things that touch my heart and soul and need to be put on wood, canvas or windows.  While I apologize to everyone who has been waiting for me to get in the studio again and pumping out signs, I simply can't put my heart into it right now. 

Yes, you can still buy artwork! I will post what I've created (and you never know, it may be just what you've been searching for!) and sell it locally and ship if necessary (no windows) There may be signs, there may be hymns and there may be something you love.  Thank you for being awesome followers, art buyers and friends!
