Word of mouth

Okay, okay....so I can make pretty things but I surely cannot wrap them.  If you think these are ghetto, wait until Christmas. I love duct tape....can you tell?

I have been overwhelmed by sign orders (which is a good thing!) this past week.  It seems like people are talking (also a good thing) and through their recommendations (thank you!) I have been up to my eyeballs in signs!  I've done three signs for three different photographers to hang in their studios!

I'm also starting to take Christmas orders, so get them in early so I don't have to turn you down!

...and this is just the beginning! Bring on Christmas!! 

Chance of rain?!

Here is the massive set up....I had TONS of art. TONS I tell you. 

 One of these tents is not like the others, one of these tents just isn't the same......

I know, I know. I was a bit ghetto, but I don't have a garage to store big white art tent.  

This was BEFORE the 10% chance of showers started.  That 10% turned into a downpour over Mt.Vernon in the afternoon.  I was lucky to have some friends with tarps and towels helping me!  Despite the rain, I had a great turn out and I did the best I've ever done at a festival!  God is good. 

 My mom came to help me.  She was a wee bit cold in the morning.  I don't know what I would have done without her. She helped me set up the tent, cover the art when it rained and most importantly she ran and got me a cappuccino.  Mom, you rock.

Here is a final look a the three cabinet doors that I was given.  One for each grand daughter/daughter from the grandmother's kitchen cabinets.  Pretty cool.  I was  honored to be able to do this for the family.  Hope they like it!

Getting ready

 Here is new funky message board thanks to a new coat of paint and some scrap booking paper.  It's much cuter than those boring dry erase boards.  We get our messages in style.

I'm hoping this is the final window for next weekend's Lincoln Highway Arts Fest.  I keep saying that and then I get another idea.....my mudroom is overflowing with window!  I've been putting the finishing touches, hangers and framing some of my other artwork.  I'm make a lot of new contacts and see your smiling faces!

Trees, trees and more trees!

 It's just about time for the trees to start turning to beautiful colors......so to prepare myself, I thought a few fall windows were in order.  Actually, these are two attempts to match a wall and house color for a special order BUT that's beside the point.  They're for sale and they need a good home soon! THINK CHRISTMAS!
