No more room....
Hello lovely paint brushes! You can never have too many paint brushes!
Look at all of those paintings! I've added two since I took this photo. I'm running out of room in my mud room/studio/dog room/garage/workshop. Hopefully I'll be able to clear some out for the arts festival!

Iowa Barn
My muse is working overtime. This barn was inspired by our road trip through Wisconsin and Iowa farms this weekend. This is the first barn I've done and it was kind of tricky because you have to work backwards! ($200)

When it rains it pours
Not sure how I feel about this one yet. It started out nice...with the nice red umbrella....and the musical note rain drops and the went down hill with the multicolored stripes. It's for sale, but I don't know how much yet, maybe you should make an offer?
I've been really busy trying to get art work ready for the Lincoln Highway Arts Festival on September 26th in Mount Vernon. It's from 9-4pm and there will be TONS of local artists, food, music and vendors. It will definitely be worth a trip up here! It's my first real art festival and I'm so excited to get some of my work out there! More info coming later!

Speaking of bedrooms...
This one is for Mike and Sara's lovely purple bedroom.
This is the second try on this one...the first one didn't look like I wanted so I scraped all of the paint off and started over. The beauty of working with glass.
This is real life folks.....
...and here is a photo of one of the window's that I did for Julie (thanks Julie for letting the world see your bedroom!) Doesn't it look sweet? Sometimes it's hard to imagine what they would look like on a wall...so here you go...imagine away!

Pen and Ink
Surprise! Not a window :) I also do pen and ink and watercolor. This is for a couple getting married in Oregon. They love all things outdoors and their wedding invites had these aspen trees on them. Their initials and wedding date are "carved" into the side of the tree. It's hard to see by these photos, but they turned out pretty well. They will end up getting framed as soon as I can get a frame.
So Sara if you happen to see this...act surprised okay?

Odd One Out.
Dare to be different. This little dude is taking a nap. I wouldn't know what that is like. ($200) Acrylic/window. It is a lot pinker (is that word?) on the top but the camera just didn't do it justice. I love pears, there is just something about their sexy shape and color. This piece would look marvelous in a kitchen or dining room, don't you think?
