Pray big!

I was convicted these past few days of not praying big enough. How often do you roll out of bed and pray for Iraq or the lost souls in foreign countries? We often keep our prayers simple and sweet and sometimes selfish, but our God is much bigger than that.  So here is to praying big!! ($30)

Friday Five: Creative websites to visit

Baby, it's cold outside. Makes me want to sit by the fire space heater all day, coffee in hand and fill my wee little mind with lots of colorful inspiration.  *Poof* In my dreams perhaps.

My birthday is in a few weeks.  I'm turning 30.  I'm having a hard time with it.  The only thing that is making it better is that I'm making a list of new art supplies that I have been dreaming of.  We'll see if the birthday fairy makes it to my house this year.

Happy Friday!

and because I don't follow the rules sometimes.....

When I get where I'm going.

 When I get where I'm going (2ft by 2ft wood, collage, paint) $65 (yup, that's a map)
Our Thanksgiving tree turned Christmas tree turned into a Valentine tree! Those are vintage paper hearts on there.  That typewriter is vintage too, we had our Christmas cards in there until I couldn't stand it any longer and had to recycle.  I can't wait until spring. CAN'T WAIT.

Creativity with the kids

I was very blessed to have a mom that let me get dirty, let me paint, glue, tear, nail and most importantly be creative. I always had to clean up my messes though. Letting your kids get creative and messy is SO important for their development and creativity.  My boys love to paint.... unfortunately it does end up on everything.
Here is the latest creation on a piece of wood. It's a little heavier than anticipated but it can be shipped (still haven't shipped a window yet!) It's called five string passion ($100)
